My husband and I have now returned to New Zealand from our very memorable holiday in Vietnam and Cambodia. TNK booked the Mekong Tour to Phnom Penh for us and our tour guide was JJ. Our Mekong tour was wonderful, mostly due to JJ who looked after us so well in every way. JJ was a very professional, friendly and helpful guide. We would be very grateful if you could forward this email to JJ's manager. We would highly recommend JJ as a tour guide for any foreign visitor to your country. We would like to make one small suggestion about the tour. It would have been helpful to have the correct Cambodia Visa forms prior to our departure on the boat to Phnom Penh. Before our departure from New Zealand, we did download forms from the Cambodian Embassy web site - bu we did download forms from the Cambodian Embassy web site - but on the day, the Cambodian Customs required a different form. The only other comment we would like to offer, and this has nothing to do with the TNK Mekong Tour itself, but we were very concerned about the terrible living condition for the two bears at the Crocodile Park. Just revisited the TNK website and thought I would add to the travel guest book. My wife, self, and two friends travelled with TNK in Jan 2008. We started in HCMC, took a bus to Phnom Phen, a ferry to Siem Reap, plane to Hanoi, went trekking at Sapa, cruising on Halong Bay, then train to Hue. From initial emails putting my ideas into a manageable itinerary the organisation was seemless. Transfers, accommodation, driver/guides in Vietnam and Cambodia, our diminutive Hmong guide Shu in Sapa, and our meet and greet in Hanoi, TNK arranged everything brilliantly.
We have since recommended TNK to friends who travelled with them this year and could not speak highly enough of the company. And as a bonus the price for our tour was over one thousand dollars cheaper than equivalent prices quoted by Australian tour operators. Congratualtions to Mr Dan and the team at TNK

My friend and I went on the three day Mekong delta tour to Phenom Phen mid July, we really enjoyed it. We were impressed by the itinery of the trip, we really fit a lot into the time we had- a lot of early mornings! Our tour guide JJ spoke good English and was from the area so could tell us a lot about the culture. JJ was also very helpful; i left my bag, on a bus we had used, which was heading back to Saigon!- i was heading to Cambodia! I told JJ and he organised the contents to be shipped to Singapore where i was finishing my trip. I am now back in Singapore and have recieved my bag, really saved me a lot of time and hassel! I would recommend TNK travel to all, great staff, great value!

Apologies for not writing sooner. We've been back in Sydney now for almost a month but our holiday in Vietnam seems ages ago now.
We would like thank you for all you help in organising our itinerary on our recent trip to Vietnam . The hotels were excellent with very comfortable accommodation and great service. Breakfasts were excellent although we thought the Hilton in Hanoi had the best croissants!
We had a good balance of organised tours and free time and we particularly enjoyed the cooking class in Hoi An. The tours of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Chu Chi tunnels were fascinating. The trip to Ha Lung Bay was quite long, but the cruise at the end of it was worthwhile.
They tour guides and drivers you organised were punctual and attentive and it was a great relief to meet them when we arrived at the various airports. Their stories and descriptions and the information they provided was very interesting and helped paint a fuller picture of Vietnam for us. They were able to answer most of our questions and through our conversations with them, we were able to learn something about their own lives in Vietnam.
We did have a little difficulty understanding our first guide in Hanoi, but he made up for it with his enthusiasm. The other three guides all had very good English. Please pass on our thanks to each of them.
